Volunteer Opportunities
As SUKRUPA provides all programs free of cost, we are constantly seeking out funds and volunteers to support our program. Committed Volunteers are the core of SUKRUPA’s programs.
Every single educated person has the ability to make a difference in at least one more person who does not have the opportunities for education. You can be that person.
There are both long term (3 months to a year) and short term (one time – minimum 2 hours, one day a week – 2 to 4 hours, 5 days a week – 2 to 4 hours or a full day/month) volunteering opportunities available.
Volunteer Openings
At the school:
- Teaching English: Phonics, reading and writing
- Teaching Math: Basic math, creative and fun methods
- Teaching Foreign languages: French, German, Spanish and Chinese
- Teaching Preschool: From 3 yrs to 5 yrs of age
- Sports: Soccer, rugby, field hockey, baseball, athletics, cricket etc.
- Creative Arts: Fine Arts, music and instruments (Indian and Western),
- Dancing: Classical Indian and Western and freestyle, theater
- Presentation skills and Public speaking
At the office:
- Marketing and Communication
- Managing events
- Fundraising
- Program Coordinators
- Writing proposals
- Teacher Training: Creative method, basic academic courses
- Sell products made at SUKRUPA Creations, a community development initiative
- Create awareness about SUKRUPA at your workplace/networking group
- Host a fundraiser party
- Help raise funds
