Pongal Celebrations
“It was a beautiful day at school because it was the celebration of Pongal. My friends did the invocation song for the program and few of them spoke about the importance of celebrating this festival. There was also a performance by the pre-school kids with sugarcanes. We had sugarcanes and peanuts and the hall was decorated with rangoli, sugarcanes and a pot of Pongal. After the celebration there were greetings made in different languages where this festival is celebrated” - Krupa Angel – 9th Gr
